Founded by sisters that grew up straddling the worlds of Black culture and classical music, Northstar String Quartet has been bringing their unique blend of spice and refinement to the Twin Cities music scene since 2015. Musicians with passion and panache, they share their talents with all kinds of audiences. Their performances have varied from rock shows to fundraising galas to weddings of every faith and style.
Northstar String Quartet has had different members over the years and now consists of the Griff-sters, Stacy and Briana Griffin (violin and cello, respectively), as well as Levi Comstock (viola) and Abby Ruskin (violin). Together, their divine musical stylings and an easy going approach make Northstar String Quartet the perfect partner for any event.
